Better the Saints than anyone else.

I am not a Vikings fan, but because I live within walking distance to the Metrodome and Mall of America Field [and because the Broncos had an incredibly disappointing year], I was a Vikings fan in this postseason. It was a tough evening, but had I not been living in Minnesota right now, I would have cheered for the Saints tonight. Why? Because I love New Orleans.

I had the opportunity to travel to New Orleans for the first time in 2006, six months after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit. I went back again 18 months after the hurricanes. It is a beautiful city, with beautiful people, and I can't think of a team who deserves a trip to the Super Bowl more.

Jackson Square

We love New Orleans!

Crawfish! Delicious!

Tons and tons of beads!

After a hard day's work gutting a home that had been flooded.

9th Ward

Good food; great parades; lots of color

9th Ward

Go Saints; Beat the Colts!
